What Is LEARN
LEARN is Medicine Hat and District’s Further Education Council. We are a board-run non-profit organization funded by Alberta Advanced Education and Technology.

Member agencies can apply to LEARN for grants to help them offer adults part-time, non-credit learning opportunities. LEARN currently provides Family Literacy programs and General Interest workshops in Medicine Hat. In partnership with rural communities, LEARN offers adult programs for residents throughout Cypress County.

We believe that people need opportunities for lifelong learning in order to adapt to an ever changing world.

Our goal is to promote and coordinate lifelong learning in Medicine Hat & District.
